MASTER ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

About Master Engineering Technology

Master Engineering Technology is a library of practical engineering tools that run in a browser tab — no installs, no license keys, no waiting on IT. There are currently 24 tools across 4 disciplines: general utilities, rotating equipment and reliability, thermal, process and mechanical design, and project planning and estimating.

Who builds the tools

The tools are built by Srinivas Arcot, a Principal Mechanical Engineer specializing in rotating equipment — compressors, turbines and pumps — for LNG, petrochemical, refining, oil sands and power projects. Each tool starts from a calculation or workflow that comes up repeatedly on real projects.

How the tools work

Every tool is a self-contained web page. Calculations run locally in your browser, so the inputs you enter are not uploaded to a server. Methods and code references (ASME, API, ISO and others) are noted inside each tool.

Engineering disclaimer. Results are for estimating, screening and reference. Verify against applicable codes, standards, vendor data and project specifications before use in design. See the Terms of Use.
